Gary Wells

Pacolet, SC - - Gary Lee Wells, 59, of 255 Limestone Street, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at his residence.

Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of Robert Joe Wells and Gloria Martin Wells of Pacolet.  He retired from Siegwerk, Inc. and was a member of Love Springs Baptist Church.  He loved his family, fishing, racing, singing, and football, especially Florida State Seminoles and Green Bay Packers.

Surviving is a son, Kevin Wells (Melanie) of Roebuck; a daughter, Chelsie Lipsey (Colt) of Inman; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Gossett and Tonya Gossett, both of Pacolet; a sister, Libby Moore of Virginia Beach, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Chase Lipsey, Kendall Lipsey, Kate Lipsey, Connor Wells, Jackson Woody, Clayton Tuck and Cameron Gossett; several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Lori Mulwee.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Love Springs Baptist Church.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the Church with Dr. Ron Culbertson, Reverend Ralph Jett and Reverend Tim Fowler officiating.

The family will be at the residence, 255 Limestone Street, Pacolet, SC 29372.
