Obituary

Faye Farr Webber

Union, SC - - Faye Farr Webber, 87, of 4373 Jonesville-Lockhart Highway, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024.

Faye was born in Union, South Carolina on October 13th, 1936 to Willie Farr and Lennah Gault Farr.  Faye grew up with her family in the Pea Ridge community.

Faye graduated from Jonesville High School and afterward attending business school.  She was formerly employed with B&H Ford dealership in Union and later with the Lockhart Textile Mill, in the business department until her retirement.  Faye was a member of Foster's Chapel Methodist Church.

Faye was the loving and devoted wife of Jack Webber for 60 plus years until his death in 2019.

She was a devoted caregiver to her mother and father until their deaths and afterwards she spent her life caring lovingly for her precious sister Sarah Ann Farr.  Faye's love and dedication to her sister was without equal.

She enjoyed fresh vegetables from her garden, cooking delicious homemade meals for her family (especially on Sunday), keeping her home "spotless", and spending time with her daughter and three grandchildren.  Most importantly, she enjoyed caring for her sister Ann.

Faye was loyal to those who she loved and was always doing things for others. Faye's generosity, her laughter, her love, her family, her faith and her unwavering kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lennah Gault Farr, her loving husband Jack Webber as well as her brothers Donald Farr and William "Hot Shot" Farr.  She was joined in her heavenly journey by her loving sister Ann.

Faye leaves behind to cherish her lessons and memories, her beloved daughter Angie Webber Padillo and grandchildren, Amanda, Anthony, and Isabella Padillo as well as her beloved sister Joyce Patrick, her brothers Charles Farr and his wife Delores, Willard Farr and his wife Robin, a sister-in-law, Deloris Farr, and many special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until 1:00PM on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Foster's Chapel Methodist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00PM at the Church with Reverend Lee Coyle and Reverend Glenn Ribelin officiating.  Interment will be in the Foster's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in memory of Faye Webber and mailed to Foster's Chapel Methodist Church, P.O. Box 611 Union, S.C. 29379.
