Eunice Lanier

Gaffney, SC - - Eunice Comleta Lanier, 84, of 115 Glendale Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Winnie Mae Anthony Phillips.  She retired from Spring City Knits and was a member of Cherokee Gospel Tabernacle.

She is survived by a daughter, Becky Willard and son-in-law Bobby who she considered a son of Gaffney; six grandchildren, Georgette Chandler, Casey Suarez (Jose), Trina Elliott (Steven), Kelly Campfield, Heather Nicks and Laycee Duncan; twelve great-grandchildren; a special cousin Inez White who she thought of as a sister.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two sons, Billy Joe Duncan and Frankie Duncan.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Blakely Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Richard Sellars officiating.
