Estelline Coyle
Gaffney, SC - - Estelline Bishop Coyle, 89, a cherished wife, devoted mother, loving grandmother, beloved sister, and treasured member of her community, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024 with family by her side.
A native of Spartanburg, SC, she was born on July 14, 1935, daughter of the late Reverend William Vernon Bishop and Agnes Kimbrell Bishop. She was a graduate of Blacksburg High School. She was employed at Craft's Drug Store, and she was a licensed beautician where she worked from her home shop. She served faithfully as a church pianist at various churches. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church for 54 years, where she served as a nursery worker and assistant Sunday School teacher, and was known for her famous sweet potato dumplings. Estelline loved her family selflessly, and spent a number of years as a caregiver for her nephew, her husband's aunt, and her mother.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 66 years, William Earl Coyle, and her sons, Glen Coyle (Lynne) and Lee Coyle (Carla); grandchildren, Leanna Coyle-Carr (Aaron), Nathan Coyle (Calyn), Adam Coyle (Jessica) and Carsen and Caylee Taylor; great-grandchildren, Henlee Coyle-Carr, Watson and Mason Coyle, and Asher Coyle; a brother, Jim Bishop (Faye). She was predeceased by two brothers, Ray Bishop and William Bishop.
Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, Estelline's legacy of love, faith, and service will forever remain in our hearts. She has been welcomed into the arms of her Savior and now enjoys her eternal reward.
