Emily Gauthier

Mauldin, SC-- Emily Katherine Gauthier, 45 of Mauldin, SC went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 27, 2025.

Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Deborah Ariail Gauthier and the late Roy Michel "Mickey" Gauthier. She was the recipient of a full art scholarship at the American Intercontinental University of Atlanta, where she attended, but she graduated from Charleston Cosmetology School of Esthetics. Her true passion was taking care of animals, always bringing home strays, even as a small child and making sure they were all loved. She worked for many years at a veterinary clinic on Johns Island, SC. She loved her kitty Cece, time spent at Folly Beach, listening to a wide variety of music, spending time with her two nephews, watching her beloved New Orleans Saints play, and enjoying life to the fullest. She was a Methodist and had a pure belief in trust of faith in God. She had an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor that brightened everyone's day.

Surviving in addition to her mother are Mark, Michel (Mack), Landon, Seth, and numerous friends and loved ones. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Warren & Emily Ariail and Mark & Bess Gauthier.

Services: The memorial will held at a later date.
