Elsie Osborn

Gaffney, SC - - Elsie Hatcher Osborn, 96, formerly of Chesnee Highway, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 12, 2024 at White Oak in Tryon, NC.

Born in Dillon, SC, she was the widow of the late Christopher R. Osborn, Sr. and daughter of the late Sam Hatcher, Sr. and Mary Vindell Hatcher.  She was a retired registered nurse and a member of New Harvest Church of God.  She loved her Lord and her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Surviving is a son, Dr. Christopher R. Osborn, Jr. (Judy) of Mill Spring, NC; two sisters, Carolyn Bryant of Dillon, SC and Mildred Daniels of Myrtle Beach; three grandchildren, Steve Osborn (Lori), Ric Osborn (Christy) and Brittany Lancaster (Shane); ten great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.   In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Clarence Osborn, four brothers, Hartley Hatcher, Doyle Hatcher, Sam Hatcher, Jr. and G. W. Hatcher, and four sisters, Frances Barrineau, Gladys Gray, Jean Hayes and Evelyn Peacock.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, December 14, 2024 in Frederick Memorial Gardens with Dr. Steve Osborn officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Shriners Children's Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.

The family will be at their respective homes.
