Dorothy Cupp

Spartanburg, SC - - Dorothy Marie Butler Cupp, 104, of 101 Harvest Brook Way, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026.

Born on Corning, CA, she was the wife of the late of Paul Raymond Cupp and the daughter of the late Tom Butler and Daisy Reeves. She was retired from Shasta County Government and enjoyed singing and playing the piano. Mrs. Cupp was of the Lutheran faith.

Surviving are two daughters, Janet Marie Sorg of Spartanburg and Carol Jean Cannon of CA; seven grandchildren, Elaina Silva (Manuel), Sandra Sorg, Donna Easley (Mike), Jacob Coulter, Amber Cannon, Alexandra Nason (Michael) and Michelle Laughlin (Dale); eleven great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cupp was preceded in death by two sons, James Edward Coulter and David Allen Coulter; a brother, James Butler; and four grandsons.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family will be at their respective homes.
