Dorothy "Dot" Sprouse

Spartanburg, SC - - Dorothy Lee Sprouse, 84, of 295 E. Pearl Street, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Sprouse and Myrtle McCurry Sprouse.  She retired from textiles and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Laura Sprouse of Gaffney; nephews, Harold Sprouse, Jr. (Debbie), Billy Estes (Nancy), David Sprouse (Amanda), all of Gaffney, and Jim Fox, Jr. of Spartanburg; nieces, Laura Cash (Ricky), Teresa Allison, Tammy Estes, all of Gaffney, and Kim Bridgeman (Dennis) of Elkin, NC.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lyman Sprouse and Harold Sprouse, Sr. and two sisters, Virginia Fox and Mary Estes.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, May 5, 2025 in the Goucher Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.

The family will be at their respective homes.
