Donnie Maldonado

Gaffney, SC - - Donnie M. Maldonado, 48, of 652 N. Shelby Street, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025 at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of Mary Mooree Upchurch Holt of Gaffney.

Surviving in addition to his mother is a daughter, Whitney Maldonado of Blacksburg; a son, D. J. Maldonado of Pickens; a brother, Louis "Tony" Maldonado of Columbia; two sisters, Wendy Ivette Martin (Josh) and Kimberly Hampton (Ronnie), both of Gaffney; one expected grandchild.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Maldonado.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

The family will be at their respective homes.
