David Buehner

Gaffney, SC - - David Lawrence Buehner, 60, of 307 Natures Trail, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at his residence.

Born in Ravenna, OH, he was the husband of Wanda Barnett Buehner and son of the late James Valentine Buehner and Juanita Craine Buehner.  He retired from AT&T and was of the Catholic faith.  He loved his family, enjoyed computers, and was very technically inclined.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Aubrey Buehner of Sterling, VA; two sons, David Lawrence Buehner II of Inman and Christopher M. Buehner of the home; a stepson, Joshua A. Slone of Virginia Beach; a brother, James Buehner, Jr. (Dianne) of Ravenna, OH; three sisters, Renee DiCarro (Michael) of Ravenna, OH, Desiree Nafziger of Columbus, OH and Davida Cain of Akron, OH; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Buehner.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Blakely Funeral Home.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Peter Brown officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes.
