Darrell Potter

Gaffney, SC - - Darrell Edwin Potter, 60, of 800 College Drive, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of the late Elizabeth "Beth" Rochester Potter and the son of the late John "Bub" Potter and Norma Scoggins. He was a graduate of Gaffney High School and Spartanburg Community College and enjoyed life. He also loved his cousins and family. The family would like extend a special thank you to Doug and Kim Scoggins for always being there when it counted. Mr. Potter was retried from The Salvation Army and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are two brothers, Mitchell Potter and Scott Potter, both of Gaffney; a sister, Jennie Porter (Randall) of Gaffney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Oakland Cemetery with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
