Craig Featherston

Rock Hill, SC - - Craig Joseph Featherston, 76, of 622 Neely's Creek Road, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Piedmont Medical Center.

Born in Anderson, IN, he was the husband of the late Suzanne Ostiguy Featherston and the son of the late Walter Featherston and Eileen Craig Featherston. He enjoyed building model trains, planes and automobiles. Mr. Featherston was retired from Boston Gear and of the Episcopalian faith.

Surviving are two sons, Bobby Carvalho (Shelia) of Spartanburg and Kenneth Kellett of Rock Hill; three daughters, Christine Wood (Billy) of Gaffney, Monica Gandy Beckett (Gary) of Winston Salem, NC and Cheryl Harris of Piedmont; three brothers, Charles E. Hart (Imogene) and Stephen Hart, both of Zephyrhills, FL and Dwight Hart (Sonja) of Orlando; three sisters, Susan Scoggin (David) of Gig Harbor Washington, Teresa Proctor of Zephyrhills FL and Dian Hart of Plant City, FL; eight grandchildren, Mollie Clark (Shad), Tyler Wood (Kristy), Hillary Beckett, Michael Harris, Matthew Harris, Rebekah Carvalho, Kamie Kellett and Hunter Kellett; and six great-grandchildren, Lailah, Sophia, Jayce, Emersyn, Sylvia and Armani. Mr. Featherston was preceded in death by four brothers, Ronald Hart, Darrell Hart, Evan Hart and Ricky Nowlin.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Blakely Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. After the service the family will be at the home of Christine Wood, 3639 Old Georgia Highway, Gaffney.

Prior to the service the family will be at their respective homes.
