Cornelius Horne

Gaffney, SC - - Cornelius Horne, 63, of 21 Pettit Court, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at his residence.

Born in Wilson, NC, he was the husband of Bobbie Bernice Stacey Horne of the home and son of Annie Barham Gray of Wilson, NC and the late Roger Joseph Dean.  He was a truck driver for 35 years and of the Baptist faith.  He loved his family, fishing, drag racing and football, especially Tampa Bay.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Rodney Denson, Jr. of Virginia; three daughters, Janee Stacey of Florida, Angel Archer and Koryn Archer, both of South Carolina; a sister, Cornelia Carlethia Horne (Richard Hinton) of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Rodney Denson, III and Ronin Denson; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, James S. Barham.

All services will be held in Wilson, North Carolina.

The family will be at their respective homes.
