Blake Bradley

Shallotte, NC - - Christopher Blake Bradley, 53, of Shallotte, North Carolina, cast his final line and headed home to the Lord on Saturday, August 1, 2026.

Born on July 3, 1973, Blake was a man who found his heaven on earth in the simple things. He spent his life working hard, laughing easily, and living for autumn Saturdays when he could cheer on his beloved Clemson Tigers.

For Blake, the best days didn't require a long trip or a fancy boat; they just required a short walk to the pond just down the road from his house. With a rod in his hand and peace in his soul, he spent countless hours on that bank chasing bass and enjoying the quiet coastal Carolina air. He had a deep appreciation for the finer things in Southern life, which to Blake, meant a plate piled high with perfectly crispy fried okra and a helping of Linda’s famous pork chops.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frederick Bradley, and his mother, Carole Bradley.

He leaves behind to honor his memory his devoted wife, Linda Bradley; his daughter, Corrinne Bradley; his stepdaughter, Summer Adams; his stepson, Derek Todd; his granddaughter, Aubrey Sutherland; his brother, Brad Bradley and wife Ann; his brother, Ron Bradley and wife Lisa; his brother, Brian Bradley and wife Dana; his brother, Bruce Bradley; and a close circle of neighbors, fishing buddies, and fellow Clemson fans.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Blakely Funeral Home. A celebration of Blake’s life will immediately follow at 2:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Russ Bradley officiating.
