Danny Huskey

Gaffney, SC - - Charles “Danny” Huskey, 72, of 100 Harrison Street, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 28, 2026 at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of the late William Huskey and Patsy Putnam Smith and step-son of the late Joe D. Smith. He was retired from construction, enjoyed fishing and gardening and loved animals. He considered himself as a “Mill Hill Boy” in Gaffney and had a great love for his family. Mr. Huskey was a member of Beech Street Presbyterian Church.

Surviving is a son, Billy Huskey (Frances) of Pacolet; two sisters, Cathy Kirkland (Mike) of Moore and Donna Morrow of Boiling Springs; two grandchildren, Caleb Huskey and Steven Ellis; and a special cousin, Willie Putnam of Gaffney. Mr. Huskey was preceded in death by a special grandmother, Lois Putnam, who was very special to him; a brother, Mark Smith; and a brother-in-law, Tony Morrow.

Memorial services will be held a later date.
