Cathy Bolin

Gaffney, SC - - Cathy Jackson Bolin, 72, of 288 Draytonville Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at her home.

Born in Cowpens, she was the wife of Roger Lee Bolin and the daughter of the late Shirley Jackson Loftis and step-daughter of the late Glenn Loftis. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, enjoyed gardening and traveling, especially the beach and had a great love for her family and her Lord. Mrs. Bolin was retired from Walmart, formerly worked in textiles and was a member of Encounter Church.

In addition to her husband, also surviving is a son, Wayne Bolin (Bobbie Jo) of Gaffney; two daughters, Joyce Ann Bolin and Tammy Elliott (Kelvin), both of Gaffney; a brother, Reggie Jackson (Norma) of Gaffney; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bolin was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Lamar Jackson; two brothers, Leon Jackson and Jimmy Jackson; and two sisters, Patricia Lanier and Louise Martin.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Monday, September 21, 2026 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel.
