Carolyn Bolin

Blacksburg, SC - - Carolyn Sanlin Bolin, 78, of 620 South Shelby Street, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Robert "Rabbit" Bolin and the daughter of the late Dan Sanlin and Macie Richardson Ramsey and the step-daughter of Paul Ramsey. She was a graduate of Blacksburg High School and University of South Carolina, enjoyed yardwork, gardening and loved antiques. Mrs. Bolin was a Registered Nurse, having retired from Cherokee Memorial Hospital and a member of Cherokee Falls Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, also surviving is a son, David "Q-Tip" Yannello (Amanda) of Gaffney; a step-daughter, Michelle Bolin (Greg) of Blacksburg; a sister, Darlene Self (Butch) of Blacksburg; two grandchildren, Taci Allen (Hunter) and Alea Bolin; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bolin was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Easler.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00AM with Reverend Will Vergara officiating. Interment will be Frederick Memorial Gardens.
