Carol Ann Cumbie

Spartanburg, SC - - Carol Ann Cumbie, 84, of 200 Serenity Lane, Apt. 201, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at her residence.

Born in Gastonia, NC, she was the daughter of the late Dalton Lee Cumbie and Helen Viola Adair Cumbie.  She was a homemaker and a member of Buford Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, William Joseph "Joey" Wiggins, Jr. of Myrtle Beach and Matthew William Cumbie (Lauren Bergholm) of Brooklyn, NY; a daughter, Tina Kraus (Gerard) of Gaffney; a brother, David Cumbie of Orlando, FL; a sister, Helen Dianne Cumbie of Lincolnton, NC; two grandchildren, Kiah Lee Kraus (Eun) and Gillian Day Wiggins.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey Lee Wiggins and Jonathan Joseph Wiggins, and a brother, Roger Lee Cumbie.

Graveside services will be at 2:00PM on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Frederick Memorial Gardens with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Gerard and Tina Kraus, 195 McCraw Trail, Gaffney.
