Candice Spires

Gaffney, SC - - Candice "Candi" Anne Perlov Spires, 58, went home to be with the Lord, following her journey with cancer, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. She endured these trials with the utmost grace. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, and will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Born in Columbia, South Carolina, on June 9, 1966, she most recently resided in Gaffney, SC. She was the daughter of Diane Marie Nodine Hollenbeck of Grays River, Washington, and is survived by the father of her children, Jonathan Eric Spires.

Candi was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran. She loved her family, her fur-babies, and her garden. She was of Catholic faith and lived a life full of heart and resilience.

She is survived by her five daughters: Priscilla Alleece Jordan, Hope Marie Jordan, Michellen Noel Spires, Megan Summer Spires, and Krista Autumn Spires; her stepson, Christopher Eric Spires; her brother, Parrish Perlov; her sister, Rheagan BeVier (Brian); a niece, Savannah Perlov;    and a nephew, Hayden Perlov.

Ceremonial services will be held at the Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, SC, where Candi will be laid to rest alongside her beloved grandmother, Florence Ozita Yorman Nodine, a World War II nurse and 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
