Brian Windle

Chesnee, SC - - Brian James Windle, 61, of 800 Halyard Lane passed away on Friday, April 10th, 2026 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was the son of the late James Wayne Windle and Ida Mae Clark Windle. A U.S. Army Veteran, Brian joined just out of high school. He served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield, was stationed in many countries, and dedicated himself to serving our country until 1992. He was employed at J-Tekt North America and was of the Baptist faith.

A devoted father, Brian loved riding Harleys, cooking, listening to music, and you could always count on him to be the life of the party. He was a devout Miami Dolphins fan, and his love for the New York Yankees was never questioned.

He is survived by daughters, Jacqueline Delony-Robert (Andy) of Texas, Angie Herron (Clay) of Mississippi, and Sarah Barefoot (Zack) of Indiana; a sister, Barbara Medley (Jeff) of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Kairos, Maeve, Sylvan, and Ashley (fiancé Caleb); two nephews, Justin Medley (Sarah) and Joshua Medley; two nieces, Jessica Bolton (Dustin) and Gracey Medley (fiancé Isidro); a great-nephew, Joshua Michael Medley.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 at Blakely Funeral Home. Memorial services, with military honors, will immediately follow at 11:00AM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bob Finley officiating.
