Boyce Harold
Womick
Sep 11, 1942 — May 21, 2026
Harold Womick
Boiling Springs, SC - - Boyce Harold Womick, 83, of 184 Lewis Burnett Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at his residence.
Harold was the definition of an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a quiet, caring, humble, and talented man who loved God, loved his family, and loved others. He worked hard and served well, loving and caring for his wife, Donna, his children, Jason (Alicia) and Julie Madden (Michael), and his eight grandchildren, Jake, Luke, Leah, Ali, Javen, Steven, Jocelyn, and Alexis. He was willing to help others for as long as he was able. When he couldn’t help, he continued to show love for others by asking about them and caring about what mattered to them.
Harold was a musician like no other. So humble, but he could play anything with strings. He spent many years playing guitar for the Felmet Sisters, and 40 years pickin’ and grinnin’ with the Campground Boys. He played in various groups throughout the years and for his Connections class at Boiling Springs First Baptist for as long as he could.
Harold proudly served his country in the Navy for two years and retired from Hoechst Celanese (Kosa) after a long career as an environmental technician. He worked for Renfrow Brothers and North Grove Medical Park after retirement. Most importantly, he served his savior, Jesus Christ, since his teenage years. As a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Harold consistently pointed others to Jesus in the way he lived and loved.
The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Boiling Springs First Baptist Church. Memorial services will immediately follow at 11:00AM at the Church with Reverend Fred Quidley and Reverend David Swofford officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ministry of one’s choice.
The family will be at the residence, 184 Lewis Burnett Drive, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
