Bill Gardner

Gaffney, SC - - Billy "Bill" Carroll Gardner, 90 of 243 Lake Tree Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Charlotte, NC, he was the husband of the late Margaret Moore Gardner and the son of the late Samuel Gardner and Bliss Gibson Gardner. He was a United States Army Veteran, former member of Woodmen of the World and formerly owner/operator of Oak Hill Mini Mart. Mr. Gardner was a former minister, had a great love for his family and friends, loved his Lord and Savior and was of the Prostestant faith.

Surviving are four sons, Scott Gardner, Derrick Gardner, Geoff Gardner of Denver, NC, and Randy Helms of Charlotte, NC; two daughters, Marla Hinson (James) of Gaffney and Kristy Helms, of Denver, NC; a sister, Judy Lance of Kannapolis; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Gardner was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Gardner and Ronnie Gardner; two sisters, Cecil Donaldson and Kay Warren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
