Betty Everett

Glendale, SC - - Betty Ross Millwood Everett, 93, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at her residence.

Born in Glendale, she was the wife of the late Raymond Lee Everett and the daughter of the late Berry Millwood and Lottie Mae Harvey Millwood. She enjoyed spending time with her great-great grandchildren, enjoyed reading, loved her furbaby, Jack-Jack Mills and a had a great love for her Lord. Mrs. Everett was a retired CNA, a homemaker and a member of Ella Crocker Memorial Pentecostal Church.

Surviving are two brothers, Jack Millwood of Glendale and Pat Millwood (Carolyn) of Clifton; two sisters, Carnel Gossett and Mikkie Knockard, both of Cowpens; two grandchildren, Nicole Mills (Jami) and Chris Burrell (Mindy); two great-grandchildren, Cierra Walling and Lana Burrell; two great-great grandchildren, Zaylan White and Arianna Martin; and two sisters-in-law, Margie Miller and Joyce Millwood. Mrs. Everett was preceded in death by a son, Stevie Everett; a daughter, Jeannie Everett; two brothers, Michael Miller and Kenneth Millwood; and three sisters, Helen M. Hamby, Dot M. Miller and Alma M. Walden.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00AM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Brian Brock officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with Reverend Lisa Parfitt officiating.
