Barbara Bigham-Stokes

Gaffney, SC - - Barbara E. Bigham-Stokes, 66, of 504 Ellis Ferry Road, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at her residence.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the widow of the late Daniel Keith Stokes and daughter of the late Carl Edward Bigham and Barbara Mannion Bigham and stepdaughter of the late Barbara Laue Bigham.  She retired from Dunkin Donuts and was of the Catholic faith.  She loved her family, music, especially the "golden oldies style", bird watching and crafts.

Surviving are three daughters, Alicia Bigham, Danielle Stokes and Tiffany Stokes, all of the home; a step-daughter, Kimberly Morales (Elvin) of Fall River, MA; two stepsons, Daniel Stokes (fiancé Julianna) of Cape Cod, MA and Paul Stokes (fiancé Melissa) of Boston, MA; a brother, John Bigham (fiancé Joyce) of Watertown, Connecticut; a sister, Maureen Hartnett (Richard) of Boston, MA; eight grandchildren, Nina, Shawn, Brianna, Emma, E. J., Isabella, P.J. and Raven; two great-grandchildren, Joey and Lucy; numerous nieces and nephews.   In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Larry Misenheimer and four brothers, Gary Bigham (her twin), Richie Bigham, Billy Bigham and Peter Bigham.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Blakely Funeral Home.  Memorial services will immediately follow at 2:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.
