Aughtry Hyatt

Pacolet, SC - - Aughtry Blackwell Hyatt, 81, of 275 Limestone Street, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Agape Lexington Hospice House.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of the late Billy H. Hyatt and the daughter of late Paul W. Blackwell and Eva Webb Blackwell. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and owner/operator of Shady Oak Boarding Home. Mrs. Hyatt was a member of Goucher Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Dwayne Hyatt of the home and Butch Hyatt (Kathy) of Jonesville; a sister, Brenda Blackwell Marthers of Pacolet; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hyatt was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Frank Marthers.

Cryptside services will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Pacolet Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.

The family will be at the home of her sister, 136 Myrtle Drive, Pacolet.
