Anne Peeler

Gaffney, SC - - Anne Wayne Peeler, 52, of 1113 S. Petty Street, Gaffney, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Born on June 18, 1973, Anne was the beloved daughter of Gibbie and Ronnie Peeler.

A 1991 graduate of Gaffney High School, Anne dedicated her life to serving and encouraging others through education and faith. She began her career teaching science at Landrum High School and later taught at Blacksburg High School before transitioning to Buffalo Elementary School, where she faithfully served students and families as a guidance counselor until she retired in 2023. Anne held a Bachelor's degree in Biology Education from Limestone College and earned her Master’s degree in Guidance from the University of South Carolina Upstate.

Anne loved the Lord deeply and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Blacksburg. Her heart was always drawn toward those in need. She regularly traveled with fellow church members to share the Gospel and provide clothing and support to the homeless community.

Anne’s personality was larger than life. Her laughter could fill a room, and her compassion left a lasting impact on countless students, friends, church members, and strangers alike. She was known for her generous spirit, unwavering faith, and ability to encourage others even during difficult times.

Above all, Anne will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, educator, and servant of Christ whose legacy of kindness and faith will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her daughter, Gracie Moss; her son, Rett Schrader; her brother, Gib Peeler (Brooke); and her 2 nieces, Sadie and Charlotte Peeler, all of Gaffney, SC.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, June 15, 2026 in Frederick Memorial Gardens with Dr. Tommy Huddleston officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
