Anissa “Nessie” Hamrick

Gaffney, SC - - Anissa Lynne Earls Hamrick, 58, of 341 Whelchel Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of John Edward Hamrick and daughter of John Vassey of Gaffney and Martha Earls Phillips of Liberty, and stepdaughter of David Phillips. She was a homemaker, loved her family, animals, enjoyed bird watching, and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by two daughters, Julia Hamrick and Valerie Hamrick, both of Gaffney; a sister, Julie Vassey of Ellenboro, NC; a stepsister, Kayla Thacker of Six Mile; a stepbrother, Josh Phillips of Williamston; a granddaughter, Aria Hamrick; her special pet, “Gemi”.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

The family will be at their respective homes.
