Angela Morris

Gaffney, SC - - Angela Whisnant Morris, 64, of 1296 State Line Road, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Richard "Rick" Hughes Morris and the daughter of the late Fred Mack Whisnant and Sarah Vinesett Whisnant. She enjoyed crafting, going to the beach, especially Panama City and enjoyed going out with friends and had a great love for her family. Mrs. Morris was employed for 25 years with Freightliner and of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her husband, also surviving is son, Richard Anthony "Tony" Morris (Tina) of Gaffney; a daughter, Donna Morris Gans (Jake) of Gaffney; two sisters, Roxanne Driskill (Ricky) and Sharon Stone, both of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Ashlyn Morris, Rylee Morris, Mia Gans and Myles Gans; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by a brother, Freddie Mack Whisnant Jr.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until 1:00PM on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.
