Angela “Angel” Gault

Gaffney, SC - - Angela “Angel” Thompson Gault, 61, of 223 Speedway Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Edgar “Rock” Gault, Jr. and Mary Thompson Gault. She loved her family, pocketbooks, and playing and was a member of Blue Branch Baptist Church.

Surviving is her brother, Mike Gault (Darlene) of the home; her aunt, Ann Pearson (Bill) of Gastonia; a nephew, Chase of Casar, NC; her beloved cousins, Vickie Thompson, who was a devoted and loving presence in Angel's life; and cousins, Mike and Kevin Pearson, both of Gastonia, and Brian Thompson (Wanda) of Mt. Holly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Martha “Snookie” Thompson who treated her like a daughter.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Eddie Smith and Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
