Andrew Jones

Willard, NC - - Andrew Hardin Jones, age 84 of Willard, passed peacefully Saturday June 15, 2024 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born April 8, 1940 in York County SC, son of the late Hugh and Margaret Holt Jones.

He is survived by three children, Roger Jones, Tammy Jones and husband Mike, and Greg Jones all of Gaffney SC; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews; and step son Bill "Junior" Hughes.

He was predeceased by a son, Andy Coyle, wife Alleine Hughes, a brother, James "Bobby" Jones and a sister, Brenda Humphries.

Andy was an animal lover and a big Hank Williams fan. He loved country music of all types.

The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until 11:45AM on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Blakely Funeral Home.  Graveside services and burial will follow at 12:00PM in Frederick Memorial Gardens in Gaffney SC with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.
