Alexander "Al" Gagnon, Jr.

Gaffney, SC - - Alexander Louis Gagnon, Jr., 78, of Gaffney, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at his residence.

Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, he was the husband of Paula Gilman Gagnon and son of the late Alexander Louis Gagnon, Sr. and Rachel Courtemanche Gagnon.  He retired from construction, was a U. S. Army veteran, and of the Protestant faith.  He loved his family, was very mechanical, and loved to remodel homes.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert Louis Gagnon of Minot, ND and James David Gagnon of Alton, NH; four brothers, David Gagnon of Milford, NH, Joseph Gagnon of Northwood, NH, Donald Gagnon of Nashua, NH and Rusty Gagnon of Vermont; two grandchildren, Jaylyn Gagnon and Amber Rae Gagnon; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Gary Gagnon, Johnny Gagnon and Frank Gagnon and a sister, Angela Gagnon.

No services are scheduled.

The family will be at their respective homes.
